Richard B. Cheney is famous American public servant, businessman and politician. Cheney is a recognizable person in Washington for many years. George W. Bush was the fourth president Cheney, who he served. Bush decided to choose Cheney to be his vice president in July 2000, citing his experience and knowledge. Dick Cheney served as the chief of staff for a president, served as a member of Congress as well as the secretary of defense. Both Republicans as well as Democrats appreciate his integrity. Cheney believes that his job in the Bush Administration will be to serve as a candid but discrete advisor. Cheney accepted his nomination as the Republican vice president that he would like to be a president candidate who can be a cross-partisan collaborator and work in a manner of kindness and with a common cause. Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on the 30th of January, 1941, in Lincoln Nebraska. The family moved to Casper, Wyoming with his family when he was 13. He was raised by his father who was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, directed the soil conservation district of Casper.
