Kathie Lee Gifford hosted the 4th hour on TODAY along with Hoda KOTB from 2008 through April 5, 2019. Entertainment Weekly lauded the Gifford and Kotb show as "appointment television" and USA Today called it TODAY's Happy Hour. Gifford composed TODAY the Musical, a highly-acclaimed musical with host and crew of the show. Every month Gifford was able to write a new tune to be included on the cult Everyone Has a Story segment. In 2015, she was inducted into the Broadcast & Cable Hall of Fame.
